MY ROLE
Designer
Introduction
This package design project began with a deep dive into visual inspiration through moodboarding, where we collected imagery, colors, textures, and typography that captured the brand’s personality and tone. The moodboard served as a foundation for establishing the overall design language, helping to clarify what emotions and associations the packaging should evoke. From there, we translated those ideas into sketches and digital mockups, experimenting with layout, hierarchy, and brand storytelling. The final design balances visual appeal with functionality, ensuring the packaging not only attracts attention but also communicates the product’s identity clearly and effectively.
Flat Packaging
An important part of the process was developing the flat version of the design. Seeing the artwork laid out before it was applied to a 3D mockup allowed for refinement of details like alignment, spacing, and how the design would wrap around the package. This step ensured the design was not only visually appealing but also practical and ready for real-world application.
Introduction
Through this project, I gained a stronger understanding of how early creative direction influences final outcomes, as well as the importance of balancing aesthetics with usability. Working with both flat designs and mockups taught me how packaging must function across multiple formats—looking clean and consistent whether viewed digitally, printed, or wrapped around a product. The final mockups bring the concept to life, showcasing a design that reflects the brand identity while remaining polished, cohesive, and visually engaging.
